The Eagles surprise everyone by picking – I'm not kidding – WR Jeremy Maclin.
First round calier wide receivers just don't end up in Philly – that is until now. The Eagles traded up two spots, from #21 overall to #19 overall to select Missouri WR Jeremy Maclin. G. Cobb likes the pick .
"I think Maclin was the best receiver in the draft," G. Cobb notes. "That was a great pick. He is also a punt returner, so you know he is tough and can make people miss. He has great hands and is a very polished route runner. He will run all of the routes and make catches in traffic." As far as the Eagles next pick goes, G still believes that LeSean McCoy is a possibility. "The staff likes what he brings to the table. I think he would be a good addition as well."
