Sheldon Brown showed up today at the Eagles Nova Care Complex for this weekend's mini camp.
His comments made me believe that he won't be at the next one.
Brown said he wanted to get the word about his unhappiness with regard to his contract because Eagles team president Joe Banner had said publicly that he didn't know he was unhappy about his contract.
Sheldon said he and his agent had been calling Banner and telling him about their unhappiness with the contract for the last four months.
The Eagles cornerback made it a point to say he had a good relationship with his head coach Andy Reid but didn't have anything good to say about Banner.
In fact, any questions about Banner were greeted with, "No comment" by Brown.
Brown said he's not thinking about the past but is looking forward.
He said the people in the organization whom he has to deal with on a daily basis aren't the people that he felt he was disrespected by.
Brown went on to say that he hoped the contract problem was because of decisions made by Banner and not Reid.
Looking at all the guys who have left the team, Brown said regardless of what happens, he won't be around much longer any way.
Sheldon says he has no problem with the front office bringing in Ellis Hobbs because the former New England cornerback makes the team better.
