A Look Around The NFC East 5/18

Here's a look around the other teams NFC East, the best division in the National Football League.

Eagles fans are excited about new tight end Cornelius Ingram because he's going to be a guy who is hard a match up for linebackers and safeties.

New York is saying the same thing about Giants 3rd round selection Travis Beckham our of Wisconsin.   Like Ingram he's a tremendous athlete who has a great combination of size, speed and pass catching ability.

You can tell by their draft that New York GM thought the team's receivers stopped them from repeating as champions.  Truth of matter is that it was Eli Manning's inability to throw in the wind of Meadowlands stadium.

In much the same way, Jeremy Maclin and Hakeem Nicks will be compared to each other throughout their careers, Ingram and Beckham will be judged against each other as long as they play.

Michael Irvin's foundation donated $40,000 to help Cowboys assistant coach Rich Behm, who is paralyzed from the waist down.  Behm was in the team's practice facility when it collapsed and he was struck in the head and back.

Irvin had a premiere party for his new reality show, 4th and Long.  He asked current and former Cowboys players to donate to help the injured Cowboys coach and they responded.

The Cowboys will begin four weeks of Organized Team Activities but they'll have to do it in a location other than their own practice facility.  I'm sure you know about the tragic accident which happened a couple of weeks ago when the Cowboys' facility collapsed in a storm.

The Dallas football squad will be heading down the road from Valley Ranch to Carrollton’s Standridge Stadium to get in their workouts.

It sems like no big deal but this squad doesn't need any distractions.  They have a lot of question marks, and none of them are bigger than quarterback Tony Romo, and number one wide receiver Roy Williams.
