Former Eagles offensive coordinator and former Raiders and Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden has agreed to a seat on ESPN's Monday Night football.
Gruden will be taking over for Tony Kornheiser and joining Mike Tirico and former Eagle Ron Jaworski in the booth. He said he still wants to coach again but he'll take a break with this job.
It allows him to collect $4 million dollars a year from the Bucs and put more ESPN money in his pocket.
You're going to get an overload of information about the quarterbacks. Of course, Jaws played quarterback and loves to get into the intracacies of playing that very important position.
Gruden is a former small college quarterback, who has been accused of being too demanding of his quarterbacks. One of the reasons he was fired from his job with the Bucs was the fact that he wouldn't draft and develop a young quarterback.
He had a lot of success with veteran quarterbacks, such as Rich Gannon, Brad Johnson, whom he won a Super Bowl with, and recently Jeff Garcia
I thought he did a good job with the NFL Network coverage of this year's draft.
