Stewart To Be Eagles DB Coach

According to the Star-Telegram.com, former Cowboys defensive coordinator Brian Stewart will become the Eagles secondary coach this week.

Stewart has been in the Philadelphia area in the last couple of days and is likely to be signed by the Birds

He's been a secondary coach in the past, in fact he was the secondary coach under then defensive coordinator Wade Phillips in San Diego before he went ot Dallas.

Things went south a year ago in Dallas and he play calling responsibility was stripped from him and Phillips took over the game day running of the defense.

After the season he was fired and was in the process of signing a deal to the be the defensive coodinator in the UFL for the San Francisco team.

He dropped that idea after being called by Eagles head coach Andy Reid.
