It's a joke for doctors to say a surgery was successful right after the surgery is completed. It's like the experts telling us that a draft was great on the week after the draft.
The truth of the matter is that nobody knows how to judge either one of these items until some time passes.
We'll know that the Westbrook surgery was successful when number 36 is out on the field in Septermber making people miss and turning short plays into long touchdowns.
The same is true of the Eagles draft. We ill know that this year's draft was a great one when Jeremy Maclin, LeSean McCoy and Cornelius Ingram have won starting jobs, been to a Pro Bowl and helped the team win a Super Bowl.
