Andy didn't know what to say today about Asante Samuel not showing up for the last few OTA's this week.
He knew if he said he was disappointed about it that would be a big story. At the same time, he didn't want to say that it was no big deal because that would minimize the importance of OTA's.
When asked whether Samuel's absence had made him regret putting him out front as a team leader, Reid took his time to answer.
After thinking about it, he just said he'll have to see how things workout when they get to camp.
I don't think it's big deal but I believe Reid was disappointed that Samuel didn't show up to all of the OTA's. He had put him out there as a leader, then Samuel decided to not to show up.
This is a very young defense with Jim Johnson out, Brian Dawkins gone and Sheldon Brown refusing to show up because of his unhappiness with his contract.
