I was poking around Foxsports.com and saw that they had compiled an All Undrafted Team. They picked the best players at every position who weren't selected in the draft.
There were only two Eagles on there and they were both offseason acquisitions this year. Here is what they had to say about them:
Leonard Weaver:
He may run six feet and 251 pounds, but the three-year veteran is incredibly agile and can spot-start at tailback, which he did 11 times in the past two seasons with Seattle. Weaver went undrafted out of Carson-Newman in 2005, and after being sidelined due to injury in 2006 established himself as a versatile background threat by running, receiving and blocking. This offseason he signed a free-agent deal with the Eagles and will catch passes from Donovan McNabb.
Jason Peters:
Peters went unchosen as a tight end out of Arkansas in 2004, but found a new niche and grew into a dominant offensive tackle in Buffalo. Peters won the starting RT gig during the '05 season, then became an eventual two-time Pro Bowler at left tackle. This offseason Peters landed his desired big-money deal that the Bills would not provide, essentially forcing a trade to the Eagles.
