You've got Eli Manning getting ready to get the largest contract in football but you've got everybody up there asking, are the young receivers going to step up.
Manning is expected to make an average of about $15 million dollars a year. This is more than his brother Peyton and the guy consider to be the best quarterback in the sport, Tom Brady.
Despite the fact that Manning will likely be the highest paid player in the NFL this year, the New York sports media seem to believe that a quarterback needs help to win it all, regardless of what he's being paid.
According to the football experts here in Philadelphia, a great quarterback can win by himself without any help from his teammates.

Mario Manningham, Sinorice Moss and Hakeem Nicks are going to be counted on to be consistent targets for Manning. ESPN.com writer Jeffri Chadiha talks about the fact that the Giants have quite a few receivers who were drafted in the first day of the draft, but that means nothing as far as I'm concerned.
He writes about a number of them having (size) Hakeem Nicks and Domenick Hixon, (quickness) Steve Smith and Mario Manningham and (speed) Sinorice Moss.
I don't buy it. Smith is the only receiver they have that has shown he can do it with the money on the table. Hicks might be a player but he's only a rookie.
The other guys would surprise me if they ever do anything special.
