New York Giants linebacker Michael Boley will be out 8-10 weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a torn hip flexor.
Boley was given a $25 million deal after leaving the Falcons. His signing was bad news for Eagles fans because he is a pretty good player and definitely improves their meagor linebacking group.
He's certain to miss all of training camp and will be uncertain for the opener. Steve Spagnuolo is gone now and Bill Sheridan is the defensive coordinator there. He'll be installing his system without Boley so he could get off to a slow start this season.
