I would like to see the 76ers draft a true two guard like Wayne Ellington. He's a good shooter who can become a great shooter with more work.
His outisde shooting would make them a better half court team and it would space the floor for everybody else.
Ellington is also athletic enough to get out and run which is the team's personality and strength.
The Sixers are in desperate need of a shooter. A true two guard who has the ball handling and shooting skill to be a two guard will make everybody on that team better.
Ellington is also a good defender with good basketball intelligence. He played at North Carolina so he knows how to take good shots and play team defense.
On another note, it's going to be very interesting to see what happens with Shaquille Oneal being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
They probably should do what I think the Eagles should do this year, which is to use one of their stars sparingly during the regular season, so that he's ready during the playoffs.
The Cavs should take it easy on Shaq during the regular season in much the same way the Eagles should take it easy on Brian Westbrook.
I do think the Cavs will make it to the NBA Finals in 2010, but they're going to have to play a better Los Angles Lakers team than the one that won the title this year.
I expect Andrew Bynum to improve and that's going to give them another post player who can take over a game,
That will be a great series. It will be a dream come true for the NBA.
