If we were to put together a list of the highest paid athletes, who do you think would be on that list.
Well Sports Illustrated put together the list of the top 50 pro athletes in terms of their total income and only one current Philadelphia athletes was on the list.
That one individual was Ryan Howard of the Philadelphia Phillies. They had him in the 39th spot.
Top golfers such as Tiger Woods and Phil Mikelson are leading the list of money makers in the U.S.
According to SI.com, Woods reportedly brought in $99 million dollars in 2008, while Mikelson $53 miliion. Much of millions came in via endorsements.
Next up on the list are 3. LeBron James, 4. Alex Rodriguez, 5. Shaquille Oneal, 6. Kevin Garnett, 7. Kobe Bryant, 8. Allen Iverson. 9. Derek Jeter and 10. Peyton Manning.
Iverson should be arrested because he stole like a bandit this season. He was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Detroit Pistons during the season. He quickly came down with a shoulder injury after the Pistons told they wanted him to come off of the bench.
The listing was put together before Donovan McNabb got a raise in pay from the Birds.
