Countdown To Training Camp

There are just 13 days until the Eagles rookies report to training camp.  Major questions have to be answered on the offensive, defensive and special teams units..

How will rookies Jeremy Maclin, LeSean "Shady" McCoy and Cornelius Ingram do when the pads are put on and the action is all out?

Will Maclin continue to flourish and push Kevin Curtis for the starting job at the split end or X position? Will Curtis show any ill effects from his off season sports hernia surgery?

Will McCoy be able to stay up with the complexity of the offense and all the things that are going to asked of him at the running back position?  Can this kid stand in there and pick up 250 pound blitzing linebackers?

Will Ingram be able to block at the Pro level?  Can his knee withstand the pounding that will take place?

How quickly will the Birds rebuilt offensive line come together?  How soon will Stacy Andrews return to live action?

Will his brother Shawn continue to shine at the right tackle position?

What will interim defensive coordinator Sean McDermott do differently than Jim Johnson in preparing the defensive unit as the season approaches?

Will Victor Abiamiri step up and take the starting left end position from Juqua Parker, then start becoming a dominating player?

Will there be any lingering problems from Sheldon Brown's contract unhappiness?  Will Ellis Hobbs push him for that job?

Who will win the starting safety position, 2nd year man Quintin Demps or veteran star Sean Jones?

Will DeSean Jackson continue do all of the punt returning or will they put Maclin in their occasionally?  Will Hobbs take over the kick returning so they can give Demps a break if he wins the starting safety position?

That's a just a few of the questions that will be answered when the Birds rookies arrive at training camp in 14 days.
