Eagles sixth round pick wide receier Brandon Gibson has been very impressive at camp so far. He catches everything that hist his hands and he's really done a great job of grasping the offense.
Right now he's benefitting from the absence of Jeremy Maclin.
The kid has good size and strength, plus he runs good crisp routes. He did a good job during the OTA's but he wasn't going to get the attention against the higher picks.
He's playing well but will have to find a way to beat the numbers. The numbers at the receiver position aren't good for him but he's making the Eagles coaches think.
Andy Reid has lost quite a bit of weight since last season. He said he dropped 75 pounds so far. His method, moving around more and eating less.
One of the Eagles personnel joked that Andy will drop the diet as soon as they lose a game. He said that Reid will start having those medicinal hamburgers to clear his head.
Second-year cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu made a nice play on Kevin Curtis on a fade route. He went up and knocked the play down.
Stacy Andrews is working out hard and going through all the drills, but he hasn't been given the thumbs up for hitting.
One of the linebackers got into a wrestling match with LeSean McCoy and tried to body slam him but the young running back wasn't going for it.
I liked the toughness the kid showed. This will help him when he has to pick up the blitzing backers on pass plays.
