What was the first play called when the Eagles offense lined up against the defense for first time this training camp? It was McNabb dropping into the pocket and hitting DeSean Jackson on a curl route.
Jackson was open and the ball was on the money. Before you knew, he had caught it, tucked it away and headed up the sideline.
You're going to see a hear a lot of this in the upcoming season.
McNabb has looked slim and sharp, and his number one receiver, DJax, continues to impress.
On another play, Jackson burst off the line of scrimmage and immediately was behind the corner and it was over as McNabb hit him going outside on a deep corner route. down the left sideline.
I could see the seriousness of LeSean McCoy, when he took the snap from DMac on the second play from scrimmage. The young fella is getting more confident about his knowledge of the offense and I've started to see all that ability coming through.
McCoy can cut on a dime and he's going to make somebody tear up their ankles. Anybody trying to tackle him in the open field is in for quite a challenge. Like Westbrook he's got eyes in the back of his head.
I think I"ve seen him catch 100 plus passes out here and I can't say that I clearly remember him dropping any of those passes.
The practice was short, lasting only about one hour and fifteen minutes.
