Eagles Get In A Long Practice In The Hot Sun

Michael Vick just ran off the field a few moments ago,  after putting in another 25-30 minutes of work after all the other players had gone in.  Andy Reid put it on the boys today with two-hour and twenty-minutes worth of work, if you count the special teams time.

This is by far the best Brian Westbrook has looked.  He went through the full workout and seemed to be getting more of that burst back.

They gave him the ball on running plays, threw it to him out of the backfield and split him out and threw it to him then.

He didn't have on a sleeve on his knee, which is a good sign.   I'm amazed by the jump he has made in such a short period of time.  On Saturday morning you could still see a slight limp, but today there was no limp and much more speed.

I like the aggressiveness that Reid and Marty Mornhinweg are taking to this offense.  I can see by the many formations and deep routes that they're working on, they will be going for the jugular the time they get their hands on the football.

The offensive line is doing a better job although I can be too confident in an offensive line with King Dunlap and Winston Justice at the tackles.

Vick didn't get as many reps today as he got yesterday.  He made couple of nice throws but for the most part he was standing and watching like I was.

The team was hurting when they headed into the Nova Care complex because the sun was taking no prisoners today.

In fact Reid joked with me on the way in,  "Did you want some reps".  I told him I did not.

You know I would steal some money from tthem if they were stupid enough to give it to me.
