As you approach your fantasy football draft keep an eye on big physical WR Dwayne Bowe of the Kansas City Chiefs. Bowe is back in the starting lineup after running into trouble with new coach Todd Haley.
With the addition of quarterback Matt Cassel, Bowe is headed toward a huge year. This guy is a force in the red zone but he had fallen into disfavor with his new coach.
Both of them came to their senses and Bowe is now back in the mix.
The Chiefs are not a good team, so you know they're going to be playing from behind and getting a lot of cheap yardage and touchdowns late in games.
Cassel is a major improvement at quarterback and Bowe is just coming into his own.
All of this points toward a huge year for Bowe because Cassel doesn't have anybody else to throw the ball to.
Bowe caught seven touchdown passes a year ago and he's great at running the fade route and out-muscling defenders for the ball. He had 86 catches last season for 1022 yards.
Expect all his stats to go up demonstrably this season.
