Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger tweets that Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora was not at practice today and that it was an unexcused absence.
"Ok need to get to bottom of this Osi thing. He apparently went AWOL today. Coughlin said it's an unexcused absence," Garfolo tweeted.
Some have speculated that it's due to his contract situation, but Garfolo later tweets that it could be camp fatigue.
"Hmmm "camp fatigue." Might be mental fatigue or something. Working on it. Stay tuned," he tweeted.
I'm not sure how camp fatigue or mental stress are a reason to just not show up to work. This could be interesting. I'm sure Eagles fans would love for another NFC East team to have a nice little preseason disturbance.
