I still haven’t figured out when Michael Vick is going to be able to continue getting the work he needs at the quarterback position. All I can think of is that he will be the scout team quarterback for the Birds throughout the season and during that time they will work with him.
If the Eagles blow a team out, who do you put in there to get the work, Vick or Kevin Kolb. If the Eagles are really committed to developing Vick does that mean you let him get as many game snaps as possible.
Kolb needs work in games. Vick needs work in games. Most of the time other than when Vick comes in the game for those wildcat plays, Donovan McNabb is going to take all of the snaps. How is Vick going to work off the rust?
Any one who saw the Jets game knows that he needs work. I’m not talking about work on his fundamentals and gaining better knowledge of the offense.
Vick doesn’t need to learn how to make the spectacular play but he needs to learn how to make the simple play. He must get better at just running the offense.
It’s true he was in there with the scrubs but you can see that he’s rusty.
