A league source tells ProFootballTalk.com that Jon Runyan has been cleared to play.¬† The source also says that there are three teams interested in Runyan right now and he even turned down a contract offer last week, because he didn’t want to play for that team.
With Shawn Andrews back, it wouldn’t seem like Philadelphia would be a likely landing spot.¬† If Andrews is healthy, they wouldn’t need him.¬† And by the time they find out the deal with Andrews, Runyan will likely already be signed elsewhere.
Runyan has been an iron man since 1997, but now he has to prove that he can battle back from the always-tricky microfracture surgery on his knee.
