If you find it hard to think about Winston Justice versus Osi Umenyiora on that memorable Sunday night at the Meadowlands, you probably don’t want to think about Winston Justice versus Julius Peppers on next Sunday afternoon in Charlotte.
These are some troubling times for the Birds.
I was out at the Eagles practice today and Shawn Andrews didn’t do any more during the practice than I did. Maybe he had a setback which could still allow him to play on Sunday.
Maybe the fact that the Birds had Jon Runyan in today at the Nova Care Complex to workout, says something about Andrews’ health or lack of health.
We’ll find something out tomorrow afternoon at practice and after practice when Andy Reid talks to the media.
You know the Eagles didn’t plan on everyone finding out that Runyan was working out for them just a few days before they start their season. I think they concerned about their offensive line.
I don’t like the way the Eagles offensive line looks and I’m concerned about them and would imagine that Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook have to be feeling just as concerned.
The guys who stand behind these guys know what things are supposed to look like. Preparation time is almost over.
It’s almost showtime.
