DeSean Jackson caught a Carolina Panthers punt and promptly returned in 85 yards for a touchdown and in the process won the NFC Special Teams Player Of The Week.
He made it look easy and he shook the closest defender then made a bee line for the end zone. Jackson did the punter the way you do the punter, he went by him like he wasn’t even there and outran everybody else to paydirt.
Jackson made a point to hang onto the ball all the way past the goalline and ignited an Eagles storm that wouldn’t finish until the Panthers were finished.
Teamed with kickoff returner Ellis Hobbs, the Eagles are going to be dangerous every time a team punts or kicks the ball to them.
