The Eagles are set to work out former Penn St. and former Cleveland Browns WR Jordan Norwood, according the Birds Eye View blog on Philly.com.
I’ve read a lot of speculation on why the Eagles would think about adding him.¬† They are getting rid of Reggie Brown.¬† DeSean Jackson’s injury is more serious than they are letting on.¬†¬† They want to replace Ellis Hobbs returning kicks.

All great thoughts (not really), but it’s most likely to replace Danny Amendola on the practice squad.¬† He signed with the Rams today and the Eagles are probably just looking to fill his spot.¬† I don’t think you guy find an undersized guy on the scrap heap in order to replace a Reggie Brown or DeSean Jackson.¬†¬†
While it’s just a workout, if the Eagles do go ahead and sign him, it will probably fix every problem on the entire team and get them back on track for a trip to the Super Bowl.
