All the Eagles youngsters on the ofensive side of the ball, DeSean Jackson as usual, Kevin Kolb, Brent Celek LeSean McCoy passed their test against what is an awful Kansas City Chiefs football team.
Still their job today was to come out and beat the team they were playing and they did that,l so they should be given credit for it.
Kolb had a nice day running the offense, making good decisions, throwing the ball accurately and getting it out of his hands.
Wisely early on, Kolb was looking for Jackson. Like last week the Birds had Jackson run a deep crossing route down the field with the hope that Kolb would get a lot of time to throw the ball.
The line did a great job and Jackson was wide open and Kolb hit him in stride.
The Eagles pass offense made it look easy with the defense being totally incapably of covering Jackson or Celek. Their defense was overmatched most of the time.
Rarely were they able to put pressure on Kolb and their pass coverage was lacking
The touchdown pass from Kolb to Jackson was magic because of that little wide receiver who runs like the wind. Kolb got the ball to him on a curl route.
Jackson caught the ball falling backwards, then regained his balance and headed straight at the weak safety in the middle of the field. He gave him a quick move and the guy fell to the ground out of fear.
