The Eagles have the week off, so they won’t be playing today, but they’ve got some good games today and tomorrow. I decided to give you my picks.
The Baltimore Ravens will be visiting the New England Patriots in a game which will clear up which of the teams sits comfortably amongst the top teams in the AFC. I”m going with the Ravens because the Patriots are banged up and not yet in sync.
Wes Welker will play but he’s not totally healthy. Veteran wide out Joe Galloway who was brought in to be the speed receiver opposite Randy Moss, will be deactivated for the game in a coach’s decision.
I could see the Ravens taking away Moss and stopping Tom Brady from getting comfortable in the pocket. Joe Flacco will pick apart a subpar Patriots defense.
In the other big game of the day, the undefeated New Orleans Saints will take on the undefeated New York Jets. I don’t believe in the Saints defense but I do believe in the Jets defensive group.
I like the Jets to stop Drew Brees from getting into rhythm but I don’t think the Jets will have much trouble moving the ball against New Orleans.
