Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb and running back Brian Westbrook practiced today as the Birds got back to work after a week off from practicing during their bye week.
They worked out a little over an hour in an abbreviated practice in preparation for the Buccaneers.
McNabb hadn’t practiced since he cracked a rib in the first game of the season against the Carolina Panthers.
He missed the game against the Saints and he also missed the game against the Chiefs. Backup quarterback Kevin Kolb took over as the starter and had some big games throwing the football.
I assume McNabb will be the starting quarterback in the upcoming Tampa Buccaneers game since he seems to be back to health.
Westbrook had sprained his ankle in the loss to the Saints and hasn’t practiced since that game.
