After Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb practiced with the team for the first time since he broke a rib against the Carolina Panthers, he spoke to PhiladelphiaEagles.com about how he felt.
“I feel pretty good,” McNabb said. “After the bye week, I was able to do a lot of different things in practice as well as preparing for the game.”
“It was very exciting,” he said. “I had an opportunity to move around a little bit, get a good sweat, a good lather, and look forward to progressing throughout the week.
“The key for me is to get that timing back to where we had it in training camp as well as in preseason. I think also for me to be able to recognize different things and be able to answer the question to what the defense is trying to display to us. And I think as an offense, we have to keep this thing rolling.”
McNabb is sure to see a lot of the Tampa Bay cover two zone defense, which keeps its safeties deep and its corners up by the line of scrimmage in short coverage.
