You would think that just because Lito Sheppard is no longer with the Eagles, that his chronic injuries would be someone else’s problem.¬† You’d be wrong.When the Eagles moved Lito to the Jets, they received a fifth-round pick in 2009 and a conditional pick in 2010.¬† That 2010 pick had the possibility of becoming a second-round pick in next year’s draft for the Eagles.
But, that was based on Lito playin 85% of the snaps this season.¬† Having missed the last two and a half games with a quad injury, this is no longer possible.¬† I don’t know what the rest of the conditions were on that pick, but I know that the Eagles aren’t getting a second rounder for him now.¬† And while Rex Ryan is hopeful that he’ll be a go, he’s listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Dolphins.¬†
