Former NFL head coach and current NBC analyst Tony Dungy told Eagles quarterback Michael Vick to stay away from Oakland as he decided which team he should go to once the NFL commissioner reinstated him to the league.
Looking back and now looking at the state of the Raiders that was great advice.
Dungy made that information public on Sunday night during the telecast of the Indianapolis and Tennessee game.
“I advised Michael Vick not to go there. I said, ‘Mike, you might be able to start there but that is not a good place for you.'”
The Raiders are the Eagles next opponent.
They have controversy hovering all over the team. The team is winless and has barely been able to score over the last few games.
The head coach has been accused of assaulting one of his assistant coaches. The organization can’t seem to get any worse.
