The Philadelphia Phillies will face young lefthander Clayton Kershaw Thursday night in Game 1 of the NLCS, according to David Murphy of Philly.com.¬† The 21-year old (Kershaw, not David Murphy) was 8-8 with a 2.79 ERA this season.Yes, Kershaw is young, but he is filthy.¬† I guess he can’t really be considered a top prospect in the Dodgers organization at this point because he has arrived as a true stud.¬† His curveball is nothing short of devastating.¬†
It’s not that he can’t be beaten, that would be ridiculous to say.¬† But, Cole Hamels better give the Phillies something better than he did against the Rockies.¬†
