The Loss Didn’t Get Worse Today: No Serious Injuries

Peters at practice As bad as the loss to the Raiders was, it didn’t get worse today.

You it would have gotten worse if we had found out that King Dunlap was going to be the left tackle the rest of the season.

Thankfully, left tackle Jason Peters looks like he’s going to be ready to play next Monday night in Washington.  I can hear your sigh of relief.

We don’t need to see any more of Dunlap right now.  He’s needs to get stronger and meaner before we see him again.

Richard Seymour treated him like an eighteen-wheeler running over a bug on the expressway.

Still the Eagles should have given him some help on Seymour.  In addition they shouldn’t have been throwing deep after you put a raw young offensive tackle in the game.  Surely you wouldn’t have him going one on one against Seymour.

Peters on sidelineVictor Abiamiri is day to day.  When he went down all I could think was “this is a guy who can’t stay healthy”.  Some people are always in the wrong place at the wrong time when it comes to injuries.

In addition Brodrick Bunkley and Omar Gaither are expected to be alright and ready for the Skins.
