Curtis out indefinitely

Kevin Curtis underwent surgery to fix his knee that has kept him out of the past three games and Andy Reid doesn’t know when he’ll be back.

Reid was asked if he thinks Curtis will be back this year.

“I think time will tell here, but I think so,” Reid said.

Those that have speculated that Curtis would never play for the Eagles again are looking smarter and smarter as each day passes.¬† Not to say that he won’t, but it’s not looking good.¬†

And now, a position that was so deep in training camp is starting to get pretty thin.¬† Reggie Brown will be activated as the team’s fourth receiver, and I’m fine with that.¬† He’ll never be an elite starter, but I’m more than happy to have him as a #4.¬†

Hank Baskett is gone and Brandon Gibson was sent to the Rams in the Witherspoon trade.¬† They are still fine at the position, but they don’t have all of that depth they once had.¬†
