Andy Reid is talking to the media at the moment. He’s still holding out hope that Brian Westbrook will be able to play on Sunday, but he’s going to leave it up to the experts.
Reid refused to be disappointed in the way the offense played on Monday night. He said the Redskins defense is very good and that they are very difficult to score against.
He said Donovan McNabb was trying to get things done on Monday and has been trying to do everything he can to produce in the circumstances.
He still says the chances of Omar Gaither coming back are slim.
Reid said he and his players are pulling for the Phillies. He said they don’t get caught up in the who is being written about.
Big Red said he is pulling for Charlie Manuel and his squad.
He praised Winston Justice for the progress he’s been making at the right tackle spot. Feels Justice probably wants to do well this Sunday against the team that had six sacks against him.
According to Reid, Will Witherspoon played well against the Redskins the entire time he was in there. Of course everybody saw the big plays but Reid said witherspoon did a good job on all the plays.
Andy feels Eli Manning is getting better year after year.
Reid said Trent Cole reminds him of Hugh Douglas in that he goes 100 miles an hour on the first play and the last.
