Can this Eagles offense be unstoppable?  Are they capable of being the best offense in the NFL?
You might say this offense isn’t worthy of these questions.¬†
Afterall they only scored nine points against the Raiders.  You make a good point but this Eagles offense could be breathtaking by the end of the season.
For instance, the New York Giants came into the game with the number one rated defense in the NFL, but the Birds offense which didn’t play mistake free football, made them look like they didn’t belong on the field.
Donovan McNabb was on top of his game and he was putting the ball on the money.  He had plenty of open receivers to get the ball to and the Birds went through the Giants defense like it was a practice game.
Dononvan has to stay on top of his mechanics and play the way he’s capable of doing week in and week out.
Finally he has a great array of weapons.¬† They’re very young and highly talented, which means they’re going to get smarter and better.¬†
Brent Celek is 24.  DeSean Jackson is 22.  Jeremy Maclin is 21.  LeSean McCoy is 21. 
Jackson and Celek are playing at Pro Bowl levels. Jackson is one of the most explosive players in the league. 
Maclin and McCoy are also headed to stardom.  
The Eagles offense has shown it can be as explosive as any “O” in the league, but they’ve got to develop more consistency.¬† Much of this is coaching.
They’ve got to be able to adjust to whatever the defense is trying to do to stop them.¬† It won’t be that difficult if they remain flexible.
They can’t be a one-dimensional team because that helps the defense.¬† If the passing is not clicking and in sync, they must be able to run the ball and work the screen game.
They’ve got to keep defenses honest, which means making them worry about their running game.¬† No they’re never going to run the ball as much as the Giants but they must remember to keep defenses honest.
With all of their weapons, the Birds offense will always have a mismatch some where on the field, but they must find out where that mismatch is at and attack it with no mercy.
There’s no coverage which enables a defense to double team Jackson, Maclin and Brian Westbrook at the same time.¬†
Oh yeah the Eagles scored 40 points and Westbrook didn’t even play in the game.
