The Phillies should go up to New York without filling any pressure. The pressure is clearly on the Yankees.
They had a 3-1 lead and they came into this series as the heavy favorite. I didn’t agree with it but according to the so-called experts, they were supposed to win this thing.
Now they go back to Yankee stadium with the memory of coughing up four straight to the Red Sox after going up 3-0, earlier in the decade.
They will get torched in the Big Apple if they let this title get away and they know it.
The Phils have fought back before. They’ve got the bats to do it. They can get hot in an instant and start pouding the baseball.
They’re never out of it because of the way they can score runs.
