Dungy Says Buffalo & Vick Might Be Good Fit

Vick standing with his helmet offI will drive Michael Vick to the airport ASAP if somebody else in the league wants him.  He is doing absolutely nothing for the Birds.

Michael Vick’s advisor and former NFL head coach Tony Dungy started the conversation by saying that Buffalo might be one of the teams around the league which would be a good fit for Michael Vick.

This Vick situation has been the most over hyped dud since one of those Kevin Costner movie flops.

The reporters grabbed the comments and took them to a number of Buffalo Bills players where they got mixed results.

Starting quarterback Trent Edwards was non-committal about bringing Vick into town.

“It’s really out of my control,” Edwards said. “I feel like we’ve got guys upstairs working those personnel moves, and if they feel like that’s going to be the best fit for this team, and they feel like that’s going to help us win football games, I’m sure they’re going to do that without my opinion on it.”

Vick throwing Safety Donte Whitner seemed to think bringing the quarterback in would be a good idea.

“I believe that Michael Vick would be a good fit, and I would encourage whoever to bring Michael Vick in,” Whitner said.

Wide receiver who probably knows that Vick has trouble getting the ball to his receivers, wasn’t excited about the idea, “Probably not. I love him as a player and everything that he’s done for the league, but I don’t think it’ll be anything we’ll aggressively go after.”
