To the shock of no one on the planet, including people that don’t even know what football is, Brian Westbrook has been ruled out of this week’s game against the Bears.Westbrook is in Pittsburgh Thursday and meeting with two concussion specialists.¬† The fate of his season, and possibly his career, will probably be determined this week.¬† I’d be surprised if he plays another down this year.
My guess is that he’d see how things went in the offseason and then one more concussion after that and he hangs them up for good.¬† It should be known though that I know nothing about concusscions, medicine or the human body as a whole, and this is just a guess.¬†
