Right Tackle Winston Justice Gets Four-Year Extension

Justice during practiceIt looks like Winston Justice is in and Shawn Andrews is out.  Justice signed a four-year extension deal today and seems to be in place at the Eagles right tackle position.

So far in 2009, Justice has been solid at the right tackle position and seems to be getting better week in and week out.  i see him getting more aggressive in his blocking.  He’s gaining conifdence and trying to take his game to the next level.

The Chicago game was an especially good one for Justice, who was pushing defenders around.

He got the opportunity because Andrews was unable to go because of back problems.  He has taken advantage of it and is now a major piece of the team’s future.

A second round draft choice of Philadelphia in 2006, Justice has developed into one of the most Justice makes a block productive performers on the Eagles offensive line this year. He has started all 10 games at right tackle in 2009 and has helped the Eagles post the sixth highest point total in the league (266).

The 25-year-old Justice has played in 21 regular season games during his NFL career (11 starts) and three playoff contests. He credits a strict offseason workout regimen and a new-found spirituality for the progress he has made throughout his NFL career.

A native of Long Beach, CA, Justice was a three-year starter at USC and helped pave the way for three Heisman Trophy winners, QB Carson Palmer, QB Matt Leinart and RB Reggie Bush, and helped the Trojans capture the national championship in 2003.
