NFL Should Take Detroit Off Of Thanksgiving Day

Stafford after a bad playFirst of all, the NFL needs to get Detroit off of the Thanksgiving day games because they always get blowin out.

Why would you want a bad game in front of such a big national audience.

There should be three quality NFL games on Thanksgiving Day.  Everybody is sitting at him with family, eating turkey and looking at football.

Well what do you know, we got the chance to see what Eli Manning looks like when he doesn’t have a running game.

He’s got some young talented receivers, but the Giants running game has been having some problems.  Sounds a lot like the Eagles.

Manning was 24-40 for 230 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.  The Giants put up only six points and sportswriters are crying about New York only being able to get 57 yards on the ground.

Notice how some quarterbacks are supposed be able to function without a running game and others aren’t.

Dawkins makes a hit Former Eagles safety Brian Dawkins was all over the field kicking butt and taking names.

He’s 36 years old but Dawkings is kicking Father Time’s butt and defying his years.

The Denver defense is carrying that football team and Dawkins is the guy who is leading their defense.

New York is starting to look like a team which will be at home during the playoffs.

It’s a good thing that so many stores are having great specials on big screen televisions because the Giants are going to be viewing the playoffs on one of those sets.

As for the Cowboys, that Cowboys wide reciever Miles Austin has been the difference for these guys.  He breaks so many tackles and does such a great job of making yards after the catch.

The Raiders are just a pathetic football team and it makes the Eagles loss to them so much more painful because there’s no excuse for losing to them.

The Cowboys running game opened things up for the Dallas offense and Tony Romo hit some big plays and Dallas won easily.
