Remember yesterday when you heard about Tiger Woods being “seriously” injured in a car accident down in Florida? Remember how you pictured a partial decapitation and a 120 mph high-speed flip job on a highway?
Well, it’s funny how facts tend to put a different spin on things.
So the media (I was watching CNN at the time, what an absolute joke they are) was all over this big story of Tiger being “seriously” injured in a car accident. And then it turns out that he got in an accident right outside his house. He hit a fire hydrant and a tree and couldn’t have been going very fast.
Then we found out that his “serious” injuries were just his face being scratched up. Last time I checked, people have lived through a lot worse and gone on to lead productive lives.
So now, TMZ is reporting that those scratches didn’t come from the car accident. Nope, TMZ says that, based on a conversation Woods had with a non-law enforcement official on Friday, that he and his wife got into a heated argument when she confronted him about seeing another woman. She then scratched his face all up. So, he jetted for the SUV and attempted to leave. She followed him with a golf club and worked on her tee shots with his Cadillac. According to TMZ, he became “distracted,” thought the vehicle was stopped and looked to see what she had done.
At that point he ran over a fire hydrant and hit the tree. TMZ was told that there is no blood on the steering wheel, putting much doubt into the notion that he sustained the injuries from the accident. But, we’ll see.
Now, TMZ is reporting that Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, who is apparently as crazy as she is pretty (then again, if she really knows he’s cheating or that he’s up to something, she might have some reasons to go out of her mind), changed her story. Windemere police say that Elin went outside, saw that her husband (that would be Tiger) had hit a fire hydrant and tree and then went back into the house to get a golf club (I assume they have a few lying around) in an attempt to extricate her husband from the vehicle.
But, TMZ has learned that she told a very different story to Florida Highway Patrol and that it didn’t involve going back into the house to get a golf club. Their sources would not allow them to be more specific at this time.
Stay tuned on this one.
