That’s Two Games In A Row Which McNabb Leads Comeback

McNabb throws the ball You’ve got to give Donovan Mcnabb credit for the throws he made with the game on the line today against the Redskins.

The throw on the last drive to Jeremy Maclin was a great throw.  Maclin wasn’t really open on a deep go route down the sideline but McNabb put the ball where only he could get it.

On the next third down McNabb hit Maclin again on a short throw that was perfect and allowed the Birds to get another first time.

He hit Brent Celek plenty of times during the game but Celek was having a tough day.

McNabb hit Jason Avant on a couple of seam routes to get things started from the Birds ten yard line.

The Eagles were trailing by eight and time was running out. McNabb found Avant down the seam.

Reid said they went their vertical game when the got the ball on the ten yard line and trailing by eight points.

McNabb lets it go Avant is a tough son of a gun.  It seems that every game that he plays he makes a great catch or two.

The red zone problems continued for the Birds, but they did just enough to get the win.

They’ve got to prove to defenses that they can over power in the running game and that will open up the play action pass.

I’ll give them credit for staying with the running game until Eldra Buckley took it in.  You’ve got to be stubborn about being able to punch that ball in from the one yard line.
