Uh oh.¬† This isn’t good.¬† If you were hoping that DeSean Jackson could either A. play this week or, B. come back soon, it doesn’t look so good.DeSean Jackson told ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio that it’s highly unlikely that he’ll play this week against the Falcons.
“I don’t think I can go,” Jackson said. “I blacked out.”
Doesn’t sound like a mild concussion issue.¬† This is the first time that someone has acknowledged that the receiver lost consciousness and an Eagles senior official confirmed to Sal that he indeed blacked out on the field.
This is exactly the type of situation that the NFL wants to be cautious with.  For the sake of DeSean, he could be out a while.
