Jackson Has Had A Headache And Is Considered Day To Day

Jackson on the ground in pain Andy Reid just said DeSean Jackson is making progress but he has had a headache.

I think his chances of playing on Sunday are slim and none.

Reid said he took a heck of a shot on the shoulder area and Jackson felt it in his jaw area.  The head coach wouldn’t use the term “black out” in regards to what happened to Jackson.

Jason Avant and Reggie Brown will take his place at the “Z” position.  From what Reid said I believe they will be alternating at the spot.  Avant doesn’t have a lot of speed but he’s tremendous at running the short to medium depth routes. 

Brown has started before at the position.   He’s faster than Avant but he doesn’t have the blazing speed of Jackson.

Brian Westbrook had a slight headache after a workout on Monday.  They are consulting with the Pittsburgh

Jackson celebrating touchdown Reid acknowledged that there’s a lot of focus and attention being paid to concussions.  He said that it doesn’t affect the way he’s dealing with them because all he’s going to do is follow what the experts say.

The head coach says all the games are very important and that’s why he can’t say one game is more important than another.

He expects a lot of excitement to greet Michael Vick when he returns to Atlanta this weekend.  On Saturday the battle between number one Florida and number two Alabama will be played in the Georgia Dome.
