As the list of woman who Tiger Woods has supposedly slept with grows, I ask the question, why is everybody going crazy over this story.
I had Tiger up on a pedestal as a golfer not as a person because I don’t know him. Just because the guy can hit a golf ball very well doesn’t say anything about what he is doing in other areas of his life.
Clearly Tiger is wrong for the way he has lived and I’m sure he knew that then and he knows it even better now. I just don’t understand the people who make such a big deal of it.
These are the same people who climb all over religious people who say that adultery is wrong. They’re the same people who call religious people judgemental, yet they’re climbing all over Tiger.
Those same people celebrate all types of film stars, television stars, rock, jazz, R & B, pop and hip hop musicians, who run around and sleep with all different types of women.
People make a bigger deal of them and talk about how great they are because they slept with this actress and that actress, yet were still married.
Can you say Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart?
If you’re going to judge one then judge them all. I think it’s hypocritical to judge Tiger but celebrate the musicians and actors.
Why is it a big deal if an athlete does it? It’s wrong both ways. Do athletes influence more youngsters than actors, musicians and other celebrities.
You and I know that answer to that question is no.
If people really cared about setting good examples for youngsters, they would realize that we need more than athletes to set good examples for youngsters.
We all should be doing that because it’s easy to ask somebody else to do something that you’re not willing to do yourself.
