Message to Trent Cole. You can’t hurt a football player but punching him in his helmet. That’s stupid and it’s going to cost you a lot of money and keep you out of the next game.
Cole was punching Giants center Sean O’Hara on his helmet. This is stupid.
The Eagles are going to have to beat the San Francisco 49ers without Pro Bowl defensive end. It’s a good thing that the 49ers have a bad quarterback and an awful passing game.
There’s something about the Giants that gets Cole going.
Do you remember the Eagles-Giants game at Lincoln Financial Field in which the Birds had a big lead and eventually went into overtime?
Eli Manning had misfired on what I believe was fourth down, but Cole kicked one of the Giants offensive linemen in the nuts and was called for the foul.
If gave the Giants new life and allowed them to come back, tie up the game and eventually win it in overtime.
You can’t lose your control and make stupid fouls like that.
