For yet another week, the Eagles were effective on the ground, they kept their offense balanced and were able to make some valuable yardage when the ran the football.
They ran for a 116 yards and clinched the game on the ground when LeSean McCoy punched it in from the one-yard line.
McCoy had a big day running for 48 yards in only 9 carries, while fullback Leonard Weaver got 52 yards on 17 carries.
Weaver had a brain cramp during the game when he stood arguing with Niners linebacker Ahmad Brooks as time ran off the clock at the end of the half.
He’s going to be looking at that incident when he’s 70 years old. ESPN will probably climb all over him in much the way that Andy Reid read him the riot act when he came off the field.
The good thing about Weaver was the fact that he stepped up and took total responsibility. There were no alibis and he promised that it would never happen again.
