This wasn’t their best game but they’ll take the victory. Donovan McNabb made some bad decisions on a few throws and two of them wound being intercepted.
Yes they did put it away with the game on the line in the second half. It was a nice long drive but it shouldn’t have been that close so late.
DeSean Jackson did his thing again with the game on the line. Jackson brought down 6 passes for 150 yards and a touchdown.
It was the fourth quarter and the Birds were ahead by only a touchdown when McNabb hit Jackson with a deep pass which set up a score and all but sealed the game.
Jackson may be the best deep receiver in the game. I want to see the Birds get the ball to him more often.
They don’t have to throw deep to him all the time. They should be able to hit him with some intermediate passes.
The defense did nice job of coming down with some interceptions and forcing some fumbles. Quintin Mikell made a great interception on a pass intended for Niners tight end Davis.
