Six Eagles were named to this year’s NFC Pro Bowl team. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson, fullback Leonard Weaver, offensive tackle Jason Peters, defensive end Trent Cole, cornerback Asante Samuel and kicker David Akers.
Cornerback Sheldon Brown who was hoping to finally be named to the squad, came up short once again.
Quarterback Donovan McNabb was the first alternate behind Brett Favre, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.
