The Eagles ten-year history versus the Cowboys doesn’t matter a great deal in regards to this upcoming game against Dallas but there are some constant factors which will play a part.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones still meddles in every area of the team but he does it with a lighter hand.  He lets the people whom he has hired to run the team make most of the decisions. 
They have gotten rid of some of his big names stars namely Terrell Owens and gone with lesser names who are willing to play team ball and focus on winning.¬† Still Jones’ finger prints are very apparent on every area of the football team.¬†
Despite Reid, McNabb and Jones still being around, most of the faces have changed, so it’s not easy to draw comparisons between past Eagles-Cowboys games to this one.
They’re not even playing in Texas Stadium any more now that Jones has built a huge new stadium in the Dallas suburb of Arlington, Texas.
Many of the key players in this game were in middle school and high school during many of those past contests. 
The truth of the matter is that the Philadelphia Eagles versus Dallas Cowboys in the early 2000’s have very little relevance to the games being played right now.
