At the beginning of the game, it looked like the Eagles defensive front seven were mugged in an alley by the Dallas Cowboys offensive line. I was thinking about calling 911 to report it.
They pushed them around for the entire first half before the Eagles defense even fought back.
Marion Barber was running like a bully.
One team showed hoping to win the football game while the other showed up intent on doing whatever it took to win the football game.
The Eagles had better get angrier by next week or their season will be over.
This is not a good situation for the Eagles to find themselves in. They’re going to face the same type of attack in their third battle with Dallas next Sunday, so they’d better take their heart with them the next time.
The Cowboys will be physical both in their running game and in their passing game. That big Cowboys offense line will show up next weekend and Barber will be lined up behind them.
Tony Romo will be getting rid of the ball when he reads blitz and most of his throws will be on the money. He won’t take a lot of chances because he’ll try to stay away from turnovers.
Jason Witten will be tough to cover and Miles Austin will be tough cover and tackle.
Asante Samuel got his hands on one Tony Romo pass and he deflected it and caused an interception by Joselio Hanson.
He missed the first touchdown throw to Witten and also failed to get to a throw to Miles Austin.
